Dates: Monday 29th June - Saturday 4th July 2026 & Tuesday 23rd June (12/U Jazz, 14/U Jazz) see timetable below
Location: Brookvale Studios, Suite 3, Level 1/114 Old Pittwater Road, Brookvale 2100
The Audition Process
Performance Class students are subject to an audition/application process and are to undergo a minimum of two ballet classes a week as a prerequisite. Performance classes have a strong focus on technique, which is why a minimum of two ballet classes a week is compulsory.
For new DNA students you are required to audition in the age group that reflects your age as of January 1st 2026. For existing DNA students you are required to audition in your regular Performance classes. You do not audition in the class you are moving up to.
As of 2024, one technique class a week will also be compulsory for all performance students, to ensure that students are up to the technical standard required to compete in all genres.
All applicants (even existing DNA Performance Class students) are required to audition and complete their online registration to attend the audition.
Can’t Make The Audition?
Applicants who are unavailable to make the audition during their regular class time may complete an online audition. There is an option to upload a video link in the online registration form below.
Online audition requirements are a video no longer than 2 minutes in length of a solo of your dance style of choice from the last 6 months.

Classical Ballet Groups are invitational only and will commence in Term 1 2027.
