At Dance North Academy, we are committed to providing not only the highest standard of technical training required to pursue a professional career in classical or contemporary dance, but also to nurturing the whole artist. Our approach goes beyond physical training — we foster creativity, individuality, and critical thinking to develop well-rounded, articulate, and intelligent dancers. Through a supportive and challenging environment, we aim to shape artists who are not only technically proficient, but who also bring depth, curiosity, and unique expression to their work.

The Dance North Academy full-time program provides students with the highest quality training foundations to aim towards a professional career in classical or contemporary dance.

Our full-time student alumnum have successfully secured placements at renowned institutions such as Houston Ballet Academy, Pallucca University of Dance, English National Ballet School, European School of Ballet, Queensland Ballet School, The Australian Ballet School, and Codarts Rotterdam, as well as receiving professional contracts from The Australian Ballet and the Singapore Ballet Company. These placements and contracts serve as a strong incentive for prospective students who aspire to achieve similar heights in their dance careers.

For today's dancers, being highly skilled in both Classical Ballet and Contemporary is crucial. At Dance North Academy, we acknowledge this skill set and offer classes in many styles to allow our dancers to reach the level of excellence expected of a young artist.

Program Entry

Entry into the Dance North Academy Full-Time program is by invitation or audition only. Auditions are held annually in August on a set date and are open to local and interstate applicants.
