About our Guest Teacher, Medhi Angot:

Born in France and trained at the Paris Opera Ballet School, Medhi's ballet career soared when he joined the English National Ballet in London at 17. He danced as a soloist in renowned productions and later moved to the Royal New Zealand Ballet, taking on principal roles over five years.

Returning to France in 2013, he became a Principal dancer with the Nice Opera Ballet, mastering classical and contemporary works. In 2021, he became a permanent Classical tutor at the New Zealand School of Dance.

Since April 2023, Medhi has excelled as a freelance ballet coach and consultant. He prepares students for prestigious competitions like Prix de Lausanne and the Youth America Grand Prix, and shares his expertise as a guest teacher with the Royal New Zealand Ballet.
