Dance North Academy invites aspiring dancers to audition for our Contemporary Full-Time Academy for entry in 2026.

For applicants that are unable to attend our Live Open Audition, please select this option.

Please submit a short video via Vimeo or YouTube. If your video is password protected, be sure to include the password in your submission.

Photograph Requirements

• 1 x Headshot

Your video should include:

• 1–2 ballet exercises that demonstrate:

  • Line and placement

  • Extension

  • Jumps

  • Pirouettes

• 1 contemporary exercise or sequence that includes:

  • Floor work

  • Coordination

  • Flow of movement

• A contemporary phrase or solo no longer than 2.5 minutes in duration

Additional notes:

• Professional filming is not required. Clear and stable phone footage is perfectly acceptable.

• You may include any additional footage that supports your application.

• By submitting your video, you confirm that all details provided are accurate.

• We reserve the right not to process incomplete applications.
