The Dance North Academy Affiliated Dance Program is designed for talented young dancers across Australia who wish to experience elite training

This exclusive new program provides selected dancers with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Dance North Academy training environment for one intensive week each school term.

The program offers interstate dancers access to our renowned faculty, pre-professional curriculum, performance opportunities, and individual mentorship and feedback while maintaining their training commitments within their local dance schools.

ENTRY BY AUDITION

Entry into the Interstate Associates Program is by audition only.

Applicants may audition via video submission.

VIDEO AUDITION

Your video should include:

• Barre, no longer than five minutes.

  • Pliés, Tendus, Adagio (including Battements Lents and/or Développés), and Grands Battements.

• Centre practice

  • Pirouette combination with pirouettes En Dehors and En Dedans

• Adagio, both sides 

• Allegro

  • Petit Allegro and Grand Allegro

• Tours En L’air right and left (male applicants only)

• Pointe (female applicants only - if applicable)

  • Warm Up consisting of Échappés, Relevé and Relevé Passé

• Contemporary phrase or solo no longer than 2.5 minutes
